“Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer arrives!

It’s here…and it’s awesome. Did you expect anything less? Just six months out, from the official release of the biggest movie blockbuster of 2015, and we now have the very first “Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer. It’ll gross over a billion dollars if it makes a dime…even if it stinks. Which is highly unlikely with the creative team behind it…but you never know. Joss Whedon writes and directs, just like he did for 2012’s “The Avengers”, with Kevin Feige also on board again as producer. Does anyone NOT know this film is on the way? Not much else to say, so:

Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark/Iron Man

Chris Evans is Steve Rogers/Captain America

Chris Hemsworth is Thor

Mark Ruffalo is Bruce Banner/Hulk

Scarlett Johansson is Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow

Jeremy Renner is Clint Barton/Hawkeye

Samuel L. Jackson is Nick Fury

Elizabeth Olsen is Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver

Paul Bettany is Vision

and James Spader is Ultron

You may hear about this upcoming movie a few more times between now and its May 1, 2015 North American opening. Or, maybe you live in a cave. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” will be presented in 3D and IMAX 3D, plus it’s guaranteed to take up about half the screens at every multiplex in existence come spring. Something to look forward to?

  1. I was in NY when the 2012 Avengers movie came out and I went to an all day marathon of the six movies. So much fun!! Wish I could be there next May to do it again!

  2. Woo-Hoo! Can’t wait for this one. For the most part, the Marvel universe flicks have not disappointed. With that said, some of the movies are NOT good, but it is still awesome to see your childhood comics come to life on the big screen.
    Thanks for the review.
    Excelsior!

    • “Iron Man 2” is terrible, “3”…only slightly better. 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk” is probably the worst of the lot, and, although I admire its ambition, 2003’s “Hulk” (if you can’t it in the universe) is an Ang Lee misstep. I didn’t like either “Thor”. But both “Captain America” films are strong, plus I’m cool with the first “Iron Man”. “Guardians” is very entertaining, and I LOVE “The Avengers”. So…there you go. Thanks for checking in! ML
