I’m pretty certain that Walt Disney Studios, and Pixar Animation, are going to have a HUGE billion dollar hit with “Finding Dory”. A no-brainer right? I want to see it, my kids want to see it–it’ll rake in money. Ellen DeGeneres is back, and Albert Brooks too. The voices for this “Finding Nemo” sequel! Ed O’Neill, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Idris Elba, Willem Dafoe, Brad Garrett, Kate McKinnon, Bill Hader, Sigourney Weaver, and, of course, John Ratzenberger. But I have a question. And I’m serious about this, and I’m definitely not poking fun. Does this recent horrific tragedy, involving an alligator killing a toddler, at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, cause any kind of public relations issue for an animated smash about marine life, considering that it’s opening so soon after the unimaginable tragedy? Feel free to discuss in comments. I’m wondering if, and how, it will be addressed. I’m not suggesting that the Andrew Stanton release will suffer in any way at the box office. But how do they handle any perceived connection? I think we’ll know soon.
